This report describes how Teck, Interior Health and the City of Trail implemented the 2001 Trail Community Lead Task Force recommendations without delay, under the oversight of the newly created Trail Area Health & Environment Committee. Blood and air monitoring results for 2001-2003 are summarized and the actions on smelter emissions and dust control taken by Teck and the City of Trail over this period are described. Enhancements to case management and in-home advice/services by Interior Health are also described. The report also presents the plan to be followed in 2004, including initial implementation of the new Work Project Assistance Program (which would later be renamed the Lead Safe Renovation Program).
