The purpose of the Standardized Paint Screening (SPS) is to gain an understanding of the prevalence of lead in paint in the Trail area and to make recommendations, as required, to update THEP guidance for residents on managing lead in paint and dust in the home and yard. This supports THEP’s aim to reduce the risk of lead exposure for young children.
